Jennifer M, (B.S. Animal & Nutritional Sciences) Veterinary Nurse/Client Services
Jennifer is a Morgantown native and is a 2012 graduate of the Animal Science & Nutrition Program at WVU. Jenn has gained valuable experience while here at AMC and continues to learn and grow within our practice. In the time she has been with us, she has shown herself to be a fast learner, a compassionate caregiver, and a natural leader. She is currently serving as our Nursing Team Leader and oversees many of our internal quality control areas. She also assists administratively; as you cna tell, she has become quite an integral team member!
Jenn shares her home with two cats - "Kai" and "Moku" (adopted from our adoption program!) and a mixed breed "puppy" named "Meeko". Jenn also loves the outdoors and spending time with family.
Robbin B, (A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology), Veterinary Nurse
Robbin's move to Morgantown and her desire to be in the veterinary field both happened when she was young. At the age of 5, her family relocated from New York so her father could pastor a local church here. Robbin's love for helping animals grew and she decided to pursue the veterinary field as a career. A 2013 graduate of Fairmont State University/Pierpont Community & Technical College, she gained experience during internships at Paw Prints and the WVU Office of Lab Animal Research. She shares her home with her 2 pomeranians named Simba and Sophie and Rocky, the beagle. Robbin says there is nothing like the feeling of nursing a sick animal back to health and wants to be the best veterinary nurse she can be.
Kim F, Veterinary Nurse
After graduating high school in Michigan and working in Illinois, Kim's path has led her to West Virginia. Having grown up with special needs dogs, Kim's love for dogs was established and continues to grow. That love has also expanded to cats as she couldn't resist taking in a stray who now enjoys "the good life" and goes by the name Bella. Kim and her husband have a bustling home with their 2 girls (of the two legged variety) and canine companion, Zoey. They also found out that they enjoyed Bella's company so much that they adopted Xylon from our AMC Adoption Program! She is excited about having a career in animal care; since she started here with us in the Spring of 2015, she has grown into an integral member of our nursing team.
Lori H, RVT (AST in Veterinary Technology), Registered Veterinary Technician
Lori is a Tunnelton, WV, native and a familiar face to our long time AMC clients. Lori worked here from 2005-2011 when she left us to become a stay at home homeschooling mom (although she opted to keep her RVT license current). Lori and her husband, Wesley, now have a family of 3 children that she homeschools, but she recently wanted to return to veterinary medicine so she could continue helping the "furry critters". Lori has always loved animals and loves helping their owners make sure they are healthy. She is pictured here with her dogs Buckwheat and Blue.
Beth H (BS in Environmental Biology), Veterinary Nurse
Beth worked here from 2008-2013, moved to Texas and now she’s back! She began her career in 2001 working at animal sanctuaries and moved to veterinary nursing in 2003. A native of Moundsville, WV, Beth and her husband, Ron, share their home with adopted dogs, Aunt Terrie (a toy fox terrier) and Doppleganger (a hound mix). She cannot imagine working in a place without animals and loves “sharing with owners the love for their special pets”. Fun fact: she plays roller derby for the Morgantown Roller Vixens (she is Ellie Vader, #321)!
Leah G (Penn Foster College student), Veterinary Nurse in Training
Leah is a true West Virginian having lived in several different counties throughout her childhood and young adult life. She is excited to start putting down roots in Morgantown with her boyfriend, Ross along with her cat, Claire, and Leopard Gecko Puma. She has always wanted to be involved in veterinary medicine and upon graduating from Davis & Elkins College, she enrolled in Penn Foster’s program to become a RVT. With a lifelong love of animals, she is looking forward to a career with companion animals and would also like to get involved with wildlife rehabilitation. We look forward to having Leah grow with us!
Victoria E (B.S. Animal & Nutritional Sciences, WVU graduate student), Animal Care Attendant/Veterinary Assistant
Originally from Mingo County, WV, Victoria is a recent graduate of the Animal Nutritional Sciences program at WVU and is currently enrolled in a Master's Program in Animal Physiology. Because Victoria loves animals and wants to help them live happy and healthy lives, she aspires to open her own veterinary practice after completing vet school. Fun fact: She fosters dogs for the Hearts of Gold service dog program. She is pictured here with foster dog, Dora, and is the proud mom of AMC Adoptives, Minerva and Finch.
Hailey P (Fairmont State University student), Animal Care Attendant
A Morgantown native, Hailey is the youngest of 5 children who grew up around many different animals and loves them all. She currently shares her home with 2 dogs and 2 fish; she’s also been the caretaker of 2 lizards and 2 guinea pigs. While this is the first veterinary position she’s held, she’s glad to be able to help pets and appreciates their loyalty. Currently enrolled in Fairmont State’s Architecture Program, Hailey hopes to one day make a living flipping houses. Welcome to the team, Hailey!
