Behavioral Medicine

When your pet has a behavioral problem you can't solve alone, we can help you. Our veterinarians will examine your pet to look for possible physical causes of the behavior problem. If there is no physical problem to be treated, we will help you learn how to treat the behavioral problems through training, behavior modification and/or drug therapy.

In addition to our veterinary staff, we employ professional, Behavior Consultants who
can further help determine the cause of such disorders as separation anxiety and obsessive behavior, and then develop a treatment regimen for the client.

Since it is easier to teach good behavior from puppyhood or kittenhood instead of fixing problems later, we help puppies get off to a good start with our
Puppy Preschool and then further their education with Next Step Obedience. We help kittens get off on the right paw with Kitten Kindergarten. These classes teach you and your newest furry family member the basics of obedience training, good behavior and wellness care to get you started on the path to a long, happy life together.
